S'mores at home

Em and I made one of my favorite treats this weekend - s'mores. Give them a try, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Ingredients:
graham crackers
peanut butter
marshmellows
chocolate chips

Spread a graham cracker with peanut butter. Sprinkle on marshmellows and chocolate chips (I go light on the marshmellows and heavy on the chocolate). Broil it in a toaster oven or regular oven until the marshmellows get toasted on top. You can eat it warm, or even better...stick it in the freezer for at least 30 minutes and eat it frozen. Yum!

  1. ahhh, my addiction. I love S'mores. My ultimate indulgence is when I substitute the hersey's chocolate bar with a Ghirardelli milk chocolate CARMEL filled square. They are too good!

  2. must go buy marshmallows and graham crackers. My new favorite thing is Superchunk Peanut butter. I have been eating it on everything. It is the quickest way to turn a low fat snack into a fat full snack. YUM!

  3. I saw marshmellows in the pantry today and couldn't resist after reading this. Very yummy! Using peanutbutter was a good idea. So was using the toaster oven (I have made them in the microwave before, but never in the toaster oven. Boy was I missing out.)
