Mother's Day Breakfast

Boo's preschool class had a Mother's Day breakfast during the last week of school.

The breakfast area was decorated with the kids' art, and there were preschooler crafted gifts for us by our places at the table.  We enjoyed our Panera bagels and egg souffle, and then an informal picture frenzy began. Some of these kids have been with Boo for three or four years.  We've done birthday parties and play dates.  They are all such good kids and Boo has had such a great experience with them.

After breakfast and pictures, Boo's teacher read a short paragraph on each mom that had been dictated by the kids.  They were, of course, entertaining and touching.  In hers, Boo mentioned how much she loves peanut butter balls, and how Kitty picks out the chocolate chips and leaves the rest.

It was so close to the end of school, it was also a celebration of finishing prek and moving on to kindergarten.  The kids sang us several songs, included an absolutely adorable one their teacher had written about all they had learned that year and how they were ready to move on to kindergarten.

Kindergarten, here we come!
