That should decrease the burning. I don't know why your kernals aren't popping - is it old popcorn? If it hasn't been kept in an airtight container, it can dry out and it needs the moisture to pop. Anyway, I dump it out of the pot when the popping has slowed, so some kernals will not have popped, but certainly not half.

Good luck!Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01208522138797771176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6935937299098136992.post-37702326368571596592010-09-12T12:47:09.704-04:002010-09-12T12:47:09.704-04:00Ok, so I must be really dumb. O...who needs an air popper when you have a big pot. Our favorite is cheesy pop corn made in a similar fashion with extra sharp cheddar or hot pepper cheese. The only difference is the cheese goes on after the kernals have popped. and cooled for just a few seconds.Apron Appealhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05127409965304126490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6935937299098136992.post-89418462635197718042010-09-10T15:20:50.212-04:002010-09-10T15:20:50.212-04:00Oh boy...I did not need to learn about this! :) S...Oh boy...I did not need to learn about this! :) Sounds yummy.
